Here is the step by step of my Frogolope which is consistently taking nice largemouth. The pattern has to take credit from the president of the Austin Fly Fishers Jim Gray who invented a fly called the Lanolope designed for topwater on the Lano river. I just bastardized it and turned it into a frog pattern

Quite nice indeed!
Is there a list of advisable swears for use while trying to trim that hair around those rubber legs? smile

Seriously I pull them to one side as I trim and use scissors and not a razor

There you go again. Black Antelope bang

I'm still waiting for that Big foot neck hair tie roflmao

I like the idea of tying the knots in the rubber legs. I tried using silly legs instead of feathers in the past and they kept getting wrapped around the hook. That should help. Great tie, thanks for sharing thumb

You can substitute the antelope for deer hair in this pattern but then it would not be a Frogolope lol
