I feel your pain. I keep a pair of "fitovers" in my glovebox in case something happens to my Rx sunglasses.

Check amazon, polarized fitovers start as low as $15.

Also - FitOvers brand has a direct purchase website. I think most of theirs are $69. They work very well, Iaconelli used to use them exclusively, not sure whether he still does or if he has Rx sun glasses now.

Cocoons are another well-known brand - theirs run about $50 - might search around on the web, probably find some cheaper.

I highly recommend getting a pair just for eye strain and comfort, plus you will just flat out see better.

Note: I am not affiliated with nor do I have a vested interest in Amazon, Fitovers, or Cocoons, just trying to HelpaBrothaOut

Thanks a million, I'll check them out

Great job for all those that weighed fish. It sounds like a tough day.

Nutman, great job and as said don't let the negatives get you down. Some are just jealous of others success.

That was easily the most brutal tourney I've ever fished. I'm no KVD but I know my way around the water and a boat. We got to our first spot at about 6:20 or so and by 7:15 my partner had boated 2 fish that we knew were 4-4.5# total and we thought man this is about to be on. We were fishing a HUGE area of flooded willows that had up to 6 feet of water on them. Well, that last fish at 7:15 was the last BITE, not fish, BITE we had the entire day. Mixed it up trying flipping several different things, 5 types of top water, jigs, spinner baits, crank baits, weightless, split shots and my partner even threw a beetle spin - yes a beetle spin and that didn't even get bit.

So, for me personally it was about 8.5 hours of fishing and not a single bite...not a perch fart, not a gaspergou, not a catfish, nothing!! Never had a single living creature touch anything I threw the entire day.

I told my partner when he headed in there was no way it would take double digits to get a check..I predicted about 9# and boy was I wrong...just 7# to get a check and 10# got you in the top 10 out of 215 teams!!!! Where did all the fish go in that lake since we were there 3 years ago?

Congrats to those that managed to catch a few and for the guys that won it....wow just wow...you guys must have had some other lake all to yourselves! Seriously that is awesome catching a bag like that on a day like that. Just wish it had been us!

Now that's nuts!

Word has it, the winning bag came on schooling fish on a top water bait. They caught that sack in pretty short order. Right place @ the right time. Gilbob you shoulda been throwing that mop jig you like and looking for schooling Bass. lol_2 Congrats to the winners.

You funny guy Pat. We both know that flipping jig works on schooling fish on sandlin in 1' of water!! I saw more fry and shad on Saturday than I've ever seen anywhere on any lake at any time in one day.
