I'm out here on the lake now with some family and trying to get on some fish we aren't to familiar with key points just been a few times anybody got any tips or direction? Thanks in advance!

If it's like it was yesterday, the bite was very tough on the Sandies and non-existant on the Hybrids till midday. Check off the 309 Flats and if you're using live bait just watch the Guide Boats. If you're using artificial lures, might want to try and find a few Sandies.

Caught most of our Sandies off the Old Hwy 287 Roadbed in 12' of water and our couple of Hybrids off Pelican Island in 25' of water. RSR lures is the bait we use 90% of the time.



Absolute best advice is hire a Guide on RC for a Half Day Trip, bring along your GPS and you'll learn more in a few hours than you can ever learn on a 45,000 acre lake in years. fish

Hows the boat traffic out there im looking for somewhwere to go, hubbard is a little closer but heard they were covered up in jet fleas yesterday!!
