What size weights and what size hooks are you using on 5 or 6 inch swim bates

It really depends on a couple of factors. If the bait body is thick, I will use a 5/0. Thinner you may get by with a 4/0. Weight depends on the depth I'm fishing. Baits this size I am usually fishing like a spinnerbait or swim jig so usually no more tham 1/4 oz. I'm a big fan of the screw lock type hooks - easier for me to center & rig straight. There are many other ways/ideas - these are just some of the things that work for me. Tight lines!
Less gritchin', more fishin'

6/0 or 7/0, weight depends on the depth and speed you plan to fish the swim bait.
You can also get some weighted swim bait hooks that work well.
