I am baffled nobody's catching hybrids or Sandies. They should've been there by now.

Carey I think it boils down to know how.Most people fishing I saw were using what the guy in the third photo is using in that little blue& white tub or minnows.

I guess they decided to open the park back up.. It was closed Monday and you couldn't get down there. I called the headquarters and they said they wasn't going to reopen it until the gates were off.. I was three shy of a sandbass limit downstream yesterday evening

anyone know lavon lake some park is open? It was open this afternoon. Slow action but did see several fish caught including a Bruiser Catfish... Today's Video.

Planned to fish Denison Dam this morning but with rain in the forecast, decided to fish Lake Lavon this morning. Action was slow but steady with several Catfish caught on Nightcrawlers and more caught using Beef Liver. For some reason, the local grocery stores were out of fresh (never frozen) Chicken Livers. Also, did see others catching Gaspergou (Freshwater Drum), Catfish, White Bass, and Bluegill. All seemed to be liking Nightcrawlers! Today's Video.
