Cedar Creek or Tawakoni in the morning. Whent to Cedar Creek last weekend and cought a few Saterday before black clouds came over. Sunday was vary windy hard to stay on humps. I trolled and got a.few.
Have not been to Tawakoni for about 2 months. Boat been in shop. Wife and myself had fun last time we where there.
We are new to the fishing game. Any advice would be appreciated .
Humps, main lake points, dam and what type lures. I do not want your fishing spots just a step in the right direction.

Thanks

I will be in a blue

Tawakoni has been good but I have had mixed results as of late on Lures. Hit cedar creek the last 2 days and it was lights out on sands, and nice hybrids all on lures. If you fish bait Tawakoni is very good right now. Fish overall seem to be holding deeper and suspending over humps/ledges and rock piles

Slabs seemed all thy would eat was white or silver. Tried chartreuse with little success. Used some blade baits some swimbaits and some deep diving crankbaits.

Went to CC today on by 7 off by 3 got hot. Lol I do not know the name of all the spots. We trolled around by the dam and point across from dam . Boated about 10 big sand bass. Then we went to the hump across from the spillway. Game on form 10:30 till 3 left them biting. Boated about 50 using new tail spinner chartreuse the on with 3 holes on top from Moe's.
Thanks for all the help. fish
