I’m looking for a Cedar Creek crappie fishing partner. I bought a new (to me) 2002 G3 Pro185 with a 100 HP 4-stroke Yamaha. Been to CK twice past couple weeks. Boat runs great but I'm totally blanking on slabs!

I fished boat docks almost exclusively, and I think I've been doing everything right, even shooting way up under docks sometimes, using 1/16 jig heads with a variety of colors and shapes. NOTHING!

This week I’ll hook up StructureScan to my HDS 5 – which may help in locating fish, but I’m not kidding myself that this is the solution.

I’ve been rained out twice with BigCrappie.com, and they still have a $100 deposit that Chuck is kind enough to apply to a trip – but they’re a really busy and successful business, so I’ve been trying to figure it out on my own.

Anyway, if you’d like to spend a few hours on the water next weekend (June 6, 7) helping this Missouri boy figure out the crappie at CK, PM me?

Also, I live half a mile from the ProAngler shop in Lucas, and would be happy to pick up any tackle you may need.

If I had ever fished Cedar creek and knew where they were, I would be all over this.

Wise move to book a trip with Big Crappie. In the meantime read the posts by Guide Lane Cooper.

Meeting Eric Saturday, and possibly aursini Sunday.
23+ years combined experience chasing crappie on CK.

I can taste the fillets already.

Thanks for the tips, y'all.
