Hello my name is Nicholas Kissam I have a huge concern with the all so frustrating situation problem in regards to the Metro Plex ski club and the ability to (own) marine creek when ever they choose to.
So with that said I have contacted the TRWD of my concern and I am starting a petition for the stop of this and removal of ski ramp items. I am posting this to start comments and concerns of this and will be forwarding all comments and conversations here so this can be stopped. Kids and family's I have spoke with today upset and correct me if I am wrong but the tff community that fishes marine creek is in a uproar also. So please voice all concerns so I can forward them to trwd. Thank you

Seriously, they shut it down a few times a year for them. Give them their couple days and you can have the other 360 days of the year?

I fish at Mountain Creek Lake and have not had a problem with skiers. I've only seen anyone ski on it once. They stayed in the ski area. I don't know the ins and outs of the permit to ski there. TRWD was out last time and said there was a ski event coming up.
Can you ski there any time? Is there a designated ski area? Do they close the whole lake for skiing? Are closures posted ahead of time online or at the lake? What issues have you had?
What I have seen is that most power boats do go faster than headway and do make a wake. Even though, they've all slowed or altered course so as not to swamp me in a 10 foot kayak.
I do like having this little lake so near to me. If there's issues, I'm interested.

They close the lake to the public like 2 weekends a year for their events. Just as area lakes are/have been closed for water levels that are dangerous, MC is closed for the skiing event that is dangerous for casual boaters.
