Headed to LBJ next week to do a little fishing. I have never been on this lake before, so I am just looking for some tips. Any help would be appreciated!

Was there yesterday and the bite was tough. Water much dirtier than normal due to recent flooding. Lake is loaded with grass, especially lower third of lake. If you are in 8 to 12 feet of water, there will most likely be grass underneath you. Others may have had better luck. Also, if you plan fishing after 11, expect to focus on docks in no wake zones.

Go up the Colorado and fish docks and canals off the main lake. Water is clear up there as the muddy water came down the Llano.
