Two of my 9 grandkids are staying the weekend with us and wanted to go fishing. They said they wanted to catch big fish so I decided to target hybrids and not sandbass. Their still a little young to be working slabs. I was a little afraid one of the big boys would rib the rods out of their hands as hard as they hit so we decided to use live bait in rod holders. I wanted to start them off right so I told them they would have to catch their live bait. So off to catch perch we went. The old wax worms where the ticket and we had a good time doing that. With a live well full of Bait off we went. Total for 1 1/2 hours fishing was 6 - 20 to 21" Hybrids boated and lost 4 more at the boat. We had a great time. Here's a few pictures of the happy boy's.

Saturday was even better. They boated over 20 hybrids with two being 26". They wasn't in the same spot as Friday and the boys were getting inpatient so I went on the hunt and happened to find the mother load. I over heard the oldest then telling his younger brother see you just have to be patient. Yes it was a blast. All released but one who they wanted for dinner. They thought that was great catching their dinner.
