Fished Arlington this morning from 5:30 til noon. Lake was smooth with only a 3mph wind. The bight started right away in the grass. When it slowed down I found them shallow around bushes docks. Had success on a white chatter bait and pitching Texas rigged white pearl fluke with dipped tail in chartreuse and a watermelon baby brush hog tail dipped in Chartreuse. They didn't want it unless it was dipped and then they would hammer it as soon as it hit the water.

No big fish but good number of bites in 2-3lb range. My most productive day on this lake so far.

Lake had quite a few boats on it for a weekday. Looked like everyone else was trying to fish deeper off points. Didn't see any catching.

Are Ramps open ?

Yes ramps are open. The lake is only like .3" high. they pump it out as fast as it comes in

Going out there Sunday. Plan to stay deep all day.

We stayed main lake and fished deep all day. Only thing biting for us was sand bass.

I went back Sunday evening from 7-midnight. It was a mad house. So many boats and people at the ramps. Even when I came off the water there were several boats still out. I came close to a couple that were sitting up under trees in the coves because they wouldn't turn on their lights. Had a few bite but couldn't get the hook in any of them.

Yeah the lake is getting hammered.
