IS it still running over the spillway ? How long do the native Texoman's think it will be before the water goes down enough to open RV parks ?

I agree it is going to be months. Before we had two more weeks of rain that sent it over the spillway, the COE said it would probably be Labor Day before the lake was really usable. They have not speculated again but I suspect the end of September or maybe even October. Once water stops going over the spillway, it will just be the floodgates bringing the lake down. That take a long time.

The Roosevelt bridge was reopened today. They did say any rain could close it down again.

I was at Little Mineral today, still looked pretty bad, several homes damaged and in the water, had to pay our slip rent, that really stunk, the catwalk to our boat house was over 100 yards from dry land, feel bad for all the folks on the lake.

Texoma is 26.31' high today. It might be next year at this pace.
