Any cats around dams? If so what set up would you suggest? Would you still fish on the bottom, near the bank, or use a slip bobber set up a few feet above the bottom? I'm going up to Oklahoma to visit my grandpa this next week and he wants to go crappie fishing from the dam and I figured I'll bring an extra rod or two for some blues.

So im guessing theres some big cats in there, ill bring along my 2 10ft Heavy ProAngler rods and with some abu round reels on them, and just jig heads? I've never got a cat on anything other than worms, minnows , stinkbait, and cut bait, but i guess they'll eat just about anything

I got this sucker bucktailing for stripers.
Big blues love heavy current, We lost 10 fish, 1 certainly close to 60#
before we landed this and another over 50#
stop 'em or pop'em.
