 Boat Registration Question

Bought another boat. Bought from an individual and got a loan for it. Tax, title was paid today and the loan company is sending in registration paper work to Austin monday. My question is can I take it out and fish if I have all my paperwork showing proof of insurance and ownership? Current registration is good but from previous owner.
