Harbor Freight SCORE! My kayak sticks 4.5' past my bed extender, which already sticks out 4'! Technically it needs lights so...  On sale this weekend. No cheaper way I know to get it done!

I dont run lights and pass all kinds of cops up all the time. I wouldnt worry about it too much unless you are jsut wanting piece of mind. There are plenty of idiots on the road thats for sure!

Yeah I've never had a cop look twice either but the lights and the fun project are way cheaper than any ticket, so what the heck. My Cuda 14 sticks out a wee bit from my Tacoma and there's always some sapsucker not paying attention!
