Was there on Sunday and surf was slightly choppy with off colored water. Well things really changed Monday, some young buddy's of a co worker went out Monday and Tuesday, all limited using top waters. Hoping I have the same conditions on Saturday. Surfside just lit up

He explained on THF that there were 10 fishermen involved, and each one of them limited. They commingled the fish just for the picture.

Just talked to a buddy of mine that fished from 6p.m. til dark off seawall in Galveston and got 2 keepers, lost a good one and quite a few undersize. He said it was a bit choppy out there. Man I hope it lays down in the morning, just one time cut me a break.

Correct. I asked my co worker the same thing, looks like more than 30 fish there, and he told me there were 10 guys that all got limits.

Fire didn't burn for me. All baitcamps in surfside were sold out of live shrimp and croaker
before 6:45a.m., and that's how my luck went for rest of morning. I threw about everything in my box at em, never got a bite. Only saw 4 specs caught by guys that were in area On live shrimp under a cork. Surf had just a slight roll, but mainly flat, bait all over the place, watched birds pluck shrimp off the surface 30 yards in front of me, water clarity was pretty good, dont know what else I could ask for.

Thought about staying all day, went to get something to eat and the bridge was packed with cars coming in, no way I was gonna deal with that or trying to find room to fish. Well that's my report, sure wish it was better, wait til fathers day for next trip.
