Anybody running Helix 5 SI?

Looking for user experience with these. Since switching to more crappie fishing out of yak I "assume" the si will be more productive. Running a lowrance di and it is ok but thinking about upgrading.

Yes, quite a few of us have upgraded to the Helix Si. It's a nice unit for the price. But with side imaging, it's all about the detail. So if you can afford it, I would go bigger. I'm happy with mine though.

Hammer thanks. Can you do 1 side only entire screen? Yes, It should be the same as the 798 and is a good trick. And if you're in deeper water and don't really need the water column you can use contour mode.
