anyone know about the conditions at lake weatherford? I know the lake level is good but is the water muddy? never been there but I have a chance to go fishing tomorrow. benbrook is really the only lake i fish. but I took my boat out there Tuesday and I don't recognize Benbrook anymore. I am a crappie fisherman but would be happy to catch any type of fish. like a lot of people I haven't fished in a long time except for tues and I didn't get a bite. can anyone give me some information? I called the marina and the guy I talked to must have been the wrong person. I asked him if the lake was muddy and he said he did not know because he was inside all the time. maybe I should have asked him if he minded going outside and take a look.

I fished benbrook Saturday sunday and last night and it has been an utter waste of time. I've heard Weatherford is a good crappie lake. I've never been there, but I was considering going this evening. I'll let you know if I come across anything. If you wanna go tonite and try it out send me a message.

Thank you Luke

I enjoyed the lake even though I didn't come out w/ too much. Its a little brown, but not too bad like mineral wells. I only came out w/ 1 keeper which was a pretty good size. I was finding fish everywhere, I just couldn't get them to bite.

I talked to a couple people out there and it seems the census out there is to fish around the docks

Live to fight another day.
