I was on the water there on Saturday. I used the middle ramp. No issues.

you can use any ramps on the lake. I would look for brush piles.

I fish it in my 2 man a few times a week normally and blue and chartreuse has been the colors as of last week. I can not go this week until Saturday and my dad is coming in to town to fish it with me in my 2 man.

You were not lying about the jet skis! Did alright, but not great. I about lost one of my custom rods with the bass. Laid one rod down to untangle the other, and saw it sliding over the side out of the corner of my eye. Managed about a half dozen of each, crappie and ditch pickles, and a yellow bass, but gave the 2 keeper crappie to a boy in a kayak.

I was out there Saturday afternoon and it was a complete zoo. Went back sunday morning and started the day with schooling sandies but then went to chase my crappie. It was a beautiful morning on the water. We left around noon and the recreational users were showing up. If you saw a little 2 man up on the dam end of the lake it was me.

my Saturday trip with dad was ok, I think all the boat and jet ski action had them a little weary. Dad was happy with the trip. we caught about 15-20 fish and sent him home with 7 good keepers. It was his maiden voyage in the 2 man and he was nervous with all the activity on the lake. I told him he could stay in the truck and I would be back in a few hours with some fish and he decided no way and he would go with me even though he thought I was crazy to try with all the jet skis, wake boarders and recreational boaters. That little lake was plum full of fools. Sunday morning I took my buddy out and we had a good trip. Started the day at 6:45ish hitting schooling sandies by the ramp for about 45 minutes then cruised the 2 man across the lake and started thumping the crappie. We caught about 25-30 and he took home 17 decent keeper crappie. All on Pepop's jigs mostly tequila sunset 1/16oz but the last 10 fish on bluetruese 1/8oz. They were inhaling those jigs deep down. When I get a chance I will post up some Sunday pics.

No secret spots but do you just have to find brush piles on that lake to find crappie?
I have never been on it, any hazards to be aware of besides all those rec folks? I'd go during the week anyway.
Any size to those schooling sandies, seems like a pretty small lake and they must not get real big?
Any advice is appreciated.
Dave

Small sandies and it gets a lot of pressure it seems. I fish it a few times a week because it is close and small and I only have a 2 man to fish from. On just about any day you will see where the brush piles are due to the boats anchored out in open water. A few of the sandies were 14" or so but most of the ones we caught were 10-11". There is what was an island under water now and the top of the island is in about 2 FOW right now but is marked with a buoy. There seems to be quite a few brush piles, I have found 3 close to the dam and see people anchored in open water in several spots. I am limited on mobility with only a 2 man with a trolling motor so I'm sure there are much better spots than what I have found so far but I do catch fish just usually not much size. I will most likely be out there tomorrow afternoon or Wednesday afternoon.
