Looking at building a casting rod for bay fishing from mudhole.com anybody have pros/cons about some of their products? I am looking at some of their 6'-7' clearance rods for a starter and then possibly moving up. Anybody deal with them or have any suggestions on parts and products that they have experience with from them.

One thing to do when building a new casting rod is build it with a acid wrap. Looks strange but it really does work.
