It was windy but still had a decent day. We caught 30 and cleaned 18 which was good for having very limited experience with Fork for crappie. My key was to use Thermocline Lures Black Emerald Shiner in the Lil Fry size and getting it anywhere them and they would do the rest. Big fish of the day went to Steve with this +2lb barndoor.

Is it worth trying next weekend during the Skeeter tourney? Figured we won't be able to bass fish much so looking for sandbass and crappie reports. If so any advice?

If the Skeeter boys are out be careful they think they own the lake I would launch about the time weigh in starts. Fish bridges and brush piles in about 17 fow
