Can anyone direct me to the best ramps on this lake? Pros and Cons? Going tomorrow and will be in a camo center console. Thanks in advance.

Upper end public ramp on the island is about the only left open on the north end. There is a private ramp at Hidden C reek Cabins that we used last week, but you have to stay there to use it. Big Chief ramp is closed with metal in front of it to prevent useage.

Get there early if you are going on the weekend, as it will fill fast. Any other day of the week is not a problem parking.

Pros...closest ramp to metroplex open. Cons...muddy water on the north end. Lake doesn't clear up until about half-way down. Depends on whether you want too run long distances on CC when the winds get up.

334 ramp is a decent ramp, the ramp at Log Cabin is probably the best but very crowded on week-ends. There is a free ramp neat Caney City that is great but not enough parking on week-ends.

It ain't easy making it look easy.
