I went today over here by Plano. Most creeks here are back to near normal flow but I was skert the sudden flash flood so I stayed out of them and went to ponds. I caught a lot of sunfish on small white popper and one bass on green burger.

Dark streamers. Black Wooly's should do well. Poppers as well. I started tying rubber legs on my buggers and the fish like them for some reason.

If you can find a distinct Mudline you can have a really good day. Ambush preditors will wait in the mud for unsuspecting prey to swim along the edge in the Clearwater and then attack. Had A fantastic day on the lake falcon fishing for bass on a point that the waves were rolling Four feet high across it can cause the mud to go out into the water the line stretch for about 100 yards we killed the bass along that line for four hours. Also look for coves that don't have active creeks the water tends to just rise in them and they still have somewhat Clearwater as they got no runoff just a higher water leval. In these conditions if I can find tea colored water I am in business!

I had a great morning Sunday on small urban creek that was swelled up fishing a mud-line I did something I normally do not do but the conditons called for drastic measures. I fished a bass popper with a small clouser minnow as a trailer caught about 6 fish and called it a day 2 on popper 4 on trailer. dirty water called for some dirty fishing.
