I just recently bought a gopro 3 silver and wondering what micro sd cards everyone is using and the best place to buy them. Looked at some at best buy and they want 100 bucks for a tiny card, that's ridiculous. I have a scan disk ultra 32 GB class 10 and when im trying to edit in gopro studio its playing in slow motion for some reason and kinda choppy. May be my old computer, I dunno.

I use scandisk ultra class 10 cards 32gb and 64gb but couple of things can cause choppiness

-protune being on in the camera settings (some memory cards cant handle that)
-4gb ram older computers not having enough power to edit

I'd say that the choppiness comes from the computer not having a good enough graphics card.

Tyler is right. Put them in a folder on the computer to be certain and work your edits from there.

I have an older computer at home and will not handle it. I don't think it is the card you are using. I have used the same. My work computer handles the processing no problem. I want to get a Mac for the house, but they are expensive. They are the best though (in my own opinion) for handling graphics and video.

I have always used the san disk ultra UNTIL I had one fail on me while I was on a trip down at Devils. It said SD Error. When I got home I called GoPro and they said that the Ultra is not recommended for the gopro. I returned it and payed more for the san disk extreme and it has worked great. I used the Ultra for a long time before I had a problem, but when I did it was at the worst time!!! Go with the extreme..

Not sure if you know much about computers, but you can easily build a computer to handle all of your video editing needs for around 500 bucks. Much cheaper than buying a computer from Dell or HP, or something like that, and is probably much faster and more capable.

I wish I knew how to build a computer, but I wouldn't even know where to start with my 9/16 wrench lol
