After I get on a plane. Fishfinder doesn't read how deep of water I'm in. Any advice?

I had that issue too on my BlueWave 19T. I came to realize the transducer would flip up while on plane due to the water pressure. Check to see if it's loose. If this is a new setup, make sure that the transducer is in the water while on plane. Hope that helps some.

Post a picture of your transducer installation so those that want to help you won't have to guess what your issue is.

If BassPro installed it I would seriously consider taking it to them first. I'm sure they warranty their work.

I would take it back but it would be too much trouble. I live 3 hours away and have already been thru this with them. Cheaper for me to take it to local repair guy. Plus I think its just not sitting in the water so I lowered it. I'll go for boat ride next week.

If your transducer is mounted to the transom, and you have a bass boat, when the boat is on pad your transducer will be out of the water. This is why you're losing bottom reading. The only solution for this is to use the center screw hole to secure it down from popping up, but you run the risk of having the ducer break off instead of breaking way if you hit a stump or something. The only real solution is a thru hull ducer.

You should be able to get a reading up to a decent speed. I don't think there is much hope over 40mph with a transom mount.

Take a ruler and press it against the hull next to the transducer. Where is the transducer sitting in relation to the ruler? I would get at least half the transducer below the ruler and angle the transducers trailing edge down. If you look up the manual for your graph you can find where they recommend it is mounted.

I'm sure you mean 'shoot thru hull'. Not being picky but some might not know the difference.
