Someone smarter than me.
If a Big Blue. Has the length of: 49" and 1/2". With a girth of: 28".
What would be someone estimate on the weight.

I always use ((Girth x Girth) x Length) / 800 so roughly 48 pounds.

The above says 58 lbs for a bluecat. Of course there are a lot of variables, but a close to 50 inch fish is quite large.

All depends how fat the fish was. Girth measurement is probably the easiest to be off on. Length is pretty cut and dried. So mysery, err Missouri chart is great for ballparkin' it.
