We would like to thank all of the "prospective members" that attended our Meet & Greet. Everyone enjoyed some real good ribs, sausage and side dishes provided by the club and our members.

The Lake Fork Anglers next tournament of 2015 is Thursday June 11th out of Oak Ridge Marina.

Registration starts at 5:00 AM at Oak Ridge. The tournament starts at 6:00 AM and runs until 2:00 PM. You have until 2:30 PM to bring your weigh sheets to be scored with payout and "the rest of the story" to follow.

Anglers may go out of any ramp they want too.

May 28th was a terrible tournament day, seven of 11 were skunked and only 2 big fish were caught.
Some days you win and some days Lake Fork wins.
!st went to President Eddie Dunaway with 6 keepers of which the top 5 weighed in at 17.2 with a 4.35 lunker.
2nd went to Bob Roberts with 2 fish for 9.21 with the 5.57 lunker of the day.
3rd went to new member Harrell Chism with 2 fish for 6.42.

When we started this club we didn't want to get to big. Because of the great response we got from interested anglers we are now nearly our goal of 36 members. Then we go to a waiting list.

June 11th was almost as bad as May 28th. Besides the fact that they were pulling water at the dam there was a lot of traffic from those practicing for the Skeeter tournament as were several of our anglers. Six of 14 were skunked and no real big fish were caught.
Some days you win and some days Lake Fork wins.

1st went to Bruce Allen with 4 keepers which weighed in at 6.48 with the 4.16 lunker of the day..Yes the other three were really small...but a win is still a win!!
2nd went to Stan Norton with 2 fish for 5.17 with the 2.81 lunker
3rd went to Heinz Roel with 1 fish for 2.12.

Slim pickens that was.
