Anyone have any thoughts on bank fishing at Canyon Lake? What fish to try for? Bait? Lots of brush in front of my timeshare right now.

Turkey point is pretty good this time of year. I usually target Sunfish(Bluegill,Redear, etc). I have caught some nice Bass using soft plastics such as worms, jigs, etc. Also small crank baits work good. Chartreuse/black are the colors of choice. There are also a couple of points you can set some rods for Catfish. Cut bait or shad work good on the cats. Hope this helps you out some. Good luck. thumb
