If you can find a distinct Mudline you can have a really good day. Ambush preditors will wait in the mud for unsuspecting prey to swim along the edge in the Clearwater and then attack. Had A fantastic day on the lake falcon fishing for bass on a point that the waves were rolling Four feet high across it can cause the mud to go out into the water the line stretch for about 100 yards we killed the bass along that line for four hours. Also look for coves that don't have active creeks the water tends to just rise in them and they still have somewhat Clearwater as they got no runoff just a higher water leval. In these conditions if I can find tea colored water I am in business!
