Regarding following the contour
Several time when I move the cursor to a contour and hit go to it would save as a waypoint

When selecting which direction to follow the yellow tracking line would display in a strait line for part of the route then follow the contour the other part

The I pilot will follow the map contour but not the depth selected. Depth was ranging from 8 feet to 18 feet while showing 15 feet is selected. Is this what the offset is for?

Yes, can change the Lakemaster depth to current lake level conditions. The best way is put your boat on a contour line and adjust the depth offset till your maps read the same as your sonar is reading.

what i do also is follow the contour of the Bank and you put an offset of 50 feet that way you will follow the bank.
