Anyone have any experience with any of the wireless Bluetooth fish finders.

For example-
iBobber, deeper, fish hunter...

I'm sure there are several others these are just a few I saw today.

I have a kayak so it seems as these would be much easier than mounting a system.

Any information is greatly appreciated!

I have the Vexilar Sonarphone T-Box permanent mount model.
They have the bobber type, permanent mount and portable power supply mount.
It is WiFi not Bluetooth.

I have the App on some smartphones and tablets. There is an iOS app and an Android app for the Sonarphone.
You can download the FREE app to see the Simulator.

This is both versions in the original configuration. The white device is an iPad:

The iOS version was recently changed to the Android configuration:

Coupled with Navionics mapping, you can do Sonar Charts Live and create HD contour mapping for any location.

Check out HawkEye Electronics they have a portable fish finder with a few options to mount on your yak. Right now they are offering 10% off all marine electronics.

Today I ordered the Deeper for my kayak. It should arrive tomorrow. I'll play around with it on Lake Carolyn tomorrow night just to verify it works, then I'll hit up Lewisville for some finishing this coming Sunday. If you're still looking, I can let you know what I think Sunday afternoon. Looks promising for Kayaks and bank fishing. Even off a boat when you want to scan a hard to reach spot that the boat can't get to.
