I'm going to be in Kerrville all summer and I was wondering where people fished in that area? For a couple reasons I really can't stray too far from that area. Are there any good spots?

There is a lot of public access all through town. What are you targeting? Bass? Sunfish? One of my favorite spots is Arcadia loop.

I'm just looking to catch any fish. I've never been to Kerrville so I know nothing about the fishing.

Google map Arcadia loop and there is some River access there. Sunfish are everywhere and bass are in the deeper water on the north bank on the west side of the Arcadia loop bridge. I've never kayaked on the east side but I heard it's fun in the spring and fall.

Be careful. All the banks are private property so you have to wade or kayak.
