I'm going to be in Kerrville all summer and I was wondering where people fished in that area? For a couple reasons I really can't stray too far from Kerrville. Are there any good spots?

The Guadalupe River runs right through Kerrville and there is pretty good fishing in that stretch of the river. There are several parks that have river accesses with lots of bank space. Also just about an hour down east I-10 is Boerne Lake and the Cibolo Creek. Both are excellent. Boerne City Park and Boerne Nature Center. Lots of shaded bank area and lots of Bass and Bluegill. You can also catch some nice Rios.

Beautiful part of the Guadalupe up in that area. Plus #1 on what was said by "Banker"!
