 Advice needed on Motor Guide Xi5....

Looking at putting the new Motor Guide Xi5 on a new boat. Anyone have any experience with this trolling motor as of yet, problems or concerns ? the boat I'm looking at has Lowrance HDS units on it already with a Minn Kota I-pilot. the dealer is saying to stay with the Minn Kota because its a proven unit and the Motor Guide is new and not working correctly yet.
Any input or advice would be helpful...Thanks

Well I did it, putting the Xi5 on the boat. I will post a report later after I get some use on the water to see how well it preforms.

The Xi5 is super fast. I've got a terrova with pilot and it does a great job but no wher near as quick as the XI5.
