So I will be fishing the Skeeter owners tournament in a couple weeks and be there Friday Saturday Sunday. I have never fished that many days in a row as I am new to having a boat and wanted to know will the power last or do I need to try to find somewhere to recharge each day? I will be sleeping in my truck as there are no more rooms available so I don't know how I would recharge it but just curious if it would last or not thanks for any help.

Find some where to recharge. Or it could cost you $$$$ in the end

I think you have to charge the trolling motor batteries at least. 8 hours on the trolling motor is going to run them down, you don't have a choice. Not sure what to tell you though. Do you have a portable generator? Maybe you could do that. Otherwise maybe you can find some kind soul to allow you to charge off their outlet, maybe have to pay to do so. Make your reservations this year for next year if you can find a place.

Yeah I thought about buying a small generator just for that but wasn't sure since I was so new to this if it would last or not. Plus, didn't want to make that investment if I didn't have to but I may just have to bite the bullet and get one. Thanks for the heads up

when I worked that event we always stayed at the best western in sulphur springs to keep the boats charged. more driving but still doable.

Charge, charge, charge or get ready to tie up to a tree for two days. Oops there are not trees left...they're all underwater. I'd charge every night.

Where are you camping/sleeping in your truck?
We will have our RV at LFM, if you can find a place to park the truck/boat close enough to the RV you can charge there.

I am not certain but I think a lot of walmarts have outlets at the base of their parking lot lights you can plug into. Just a thought

Skeeter Marine that is a VERY generous offer and thank you for it. The only tournament i have fished was at LFM a few months ago and I was lucky enough to get a parking spot right by the ramp and just left my boat in the water overnight as i was right by it. If i can get lucky enough for that again I will just use the generator i bought but if for some reason that doesnt happen i would love to take you up on that offer. Thank you for the kind offer.
