went and looked at the ramp today and I can get in the lake but was wondering if it would be worth it ? I was told it has been almost dry for 4 years but have also been told it was good bass fishing so any help here will be appreciated

I used to fish Averhoff in the past...but unfortunately, that was back in the mid 80s and it was a good "river" for Bass back then. I've wondered about Averhoff since returning to San Antonio 10 years ago, but I have not fished Averhoff since the mid 80s and I would definitely be concerned about the effect the drought had on Averhoff. If you can get your boat in there...I think it would be worth a try. At the end of this fishing season I might take the time to make a one day trip there myself now that we've had some rain.

Ive always wondered if it was any good fishing. On google earth it seems pretty hairy, and not very deep. It would be a good spot to build up another lake.
