I'm trying to make a decision on where to go tomorrow and south lake seems close enough, but I am curious how the water was during the tournament?

Last time I was there the water was clear but had a dark color sort of stain to it. Lots of lily pads everywhere.

This was on the 19th but it had rained the day before if I remember. Water is usually pretty clear.

I thought the water was great on Wednesday. Don't know what it's like now though, I'll find out in the morning. I'll be in the olive WS 135. Lots of grass and the pads are on their way up. I've been catching them in the thick cover pulling a buzzbait through the flooded bushes and grass.

AWESOME! Hopefully the weather holds up.

Decision is made!

I'll be there in a tan Emotion, probably over packed. I've been doing a lot of work on it and I'm hoping I got everything.

South of farmersville. East of lavon.

Looks like the rain is starting to slow up for me so it's time to get packed.

That looks like a nice spot - now I know where I'm heading once this rain decides to stop.

The weather deterred me. How is/was it?

It's great. Caught two so far. Light sprinkle but still good.

What through me was all of the vegetation/underwater plants. I was able to get one on a frog and another on a minnow fluke, everything else was ignored.

I am thinking I will be back tomorrow as well... it's tool close to not (attempt to) master.

Racin. I think I saw you out there today. I was the guy I. The white predator mx.
Did you end up doing any good? My morning started slow with a few misses on a frog, but I picked up a few by the pillars down by the dam later.

I finally got 1 on my way back to the ramp. Caught it on a buzzbait pulling it through the grass

Awesome toada! What time did you end up leaving?

Well, I had a game plan and I was going to stick to it. I used a frog first thing when I got ther on the south side and that wasn't getting anything so, I switched to a black and blue jig and got a good hit but I didn't set the hook mad and it spit it out while I was trying to turn on my GoPro. I moved on to the point across the from the ramp and landed a nice one on the first cast. Unfortunately, I didn't switch it up and that's all I got. I chatted with a guy unloading and loading up and he said he got about 6 kinda by the dock using blue paddle worm.

Guess when it's all said and done,I just need more time out there.
