A friend and I hit up South Lake today. Wind was non existant. Water had a stain to it but was otherwise clear. Got out to good start with my first bass taking a white swim fluke was a skinny 16" bass fished for a while before having anymore luck. Found another bass at the dam that went 15.5" Was about ready to give up and call it a day but couldn't resist hitting a few more spots. But ended up catching 2 war mouths and no bass there. Paddled back to the ramp and said lets try the trees by the ramp..... glad I did! Caught 2 more bass and another war mouth. Bass went 15" and 17.5". Ended the day with 4 bass and 3 war mouth.

Fish are in the order they were caught. Here is another pic of that 17.5" had a big mouth for its size.
