Yes I'm a bargain buyer, I've had 4 ethos rods and love them. I thought about buying the nano can anybody compare and contrast these 2 rods for me? Or any reviews on the nano?

There's no comparison really. The Nano is 5x the rod the Ethos is. I have 2 Ethos that I got as a gift, I'm not a big fan. They're severely underpowered. I use the 7' HEAVY for fishing weightless worms ffs. And the sensitivity is average at best. They make good moving bait rods but beyond that I don't like them. The Nano is way better quality rod, much more sensitive, lighter, stronger too.
With that said, the Nanos cost $90. . .you could spend $10 or $20 more and get a 13 Fishing Omen Black and have a rod that's worlds better than a Nano.

Cant compare the two because I have never used an Ethos. I do have a couple of Nano's(Big Crank, Flippin). They both have performed just fine with no issues. The micro is a better rod IMO if you can find them.

If you are at the 90-100 range, do yourself a favor and pick up a Dobyns Fury!! I have experimented the last month with some different 100 range rods... None are balanced like the Fury while it is in the palm of your hand with a reel on it!! It's those subtle differences that appeals to me!

And for budget minded angling... I have 7 of these now.. The lews MG reel! $80 reel and it casts and performs like a champ!!

I would second the Lews $80 reels. I have 2 of them and they are very nice.

$ for $ it will be hard to beat a nano rod even at $90. Its a good rod for that price point and probably equivalent to most of the $150 rods I have seen.
