The micro guide on my falcon fell off about 3 weeks ago and I never came around to fixing it. Is it worth replacing it or can I fish fine without it? I have no clue how it broke. Taped over where the guide was and been fishing with it and it seems fine to me.

If you are fine with it and notice no ill effects then I wouldnt worry too much about it. Most rod repair shops only charge about $15 to replace though so its not a big deal to get it replaced either. Ive gotten away from micro guide rods though. I have had SEVERAL of all different brands have a few of the guides just pop off and disappear. They are just too weak IMO. Ive never had issues with regular guide rods. Just my .02

in the grand scheme of things it's not that big of a deal depending on what you use that rod for. Pitching and flipping shouldn't be too big of a deal. If it's a rod you cast a long ways with, I would recommend getting it fixed. It only takes one time for your spool to open up and you let line out too much and catch something. Nick in the line and boom, big fish gone. Just my $.02
If you aren't going to get it fixed, I would recommend using some super glue and clear nail polish over the vacant seat and then a lil bit of tape...this will make sure nothing can catch or snag.
