Worthless for me.
Rips a big hole in their mouth and hooks come out too easy.

I have yet to bend one out or lose a fish on one. I have poured flipping, football, swim and finesse jigs with them as well as shakyheads. I have some spinnerbaits and vibrating jigs with Trokars in them as well. They are not my go to brand but I cannot find an issue with them.

If you want to go thru a bag of soft plastics without even getting a bite, use Trokar. They will tear up your soft plastics like crazy.

It depends. Are you fishing for 2 lbers or 8 lbers? I'm always fishing for bigger fish so I like using them. They tend to stay buttoned up more to me versus a conventional hook. I feel like I can get the trokar in the jaw a little better. It's all about personal preference and confidence. Mainly the latter.

Funny. I've had ZERO issues with Trokars. In fact, I think they're the best bass hooks ever made. I would be willing to bet that the issues people have with them are user error. Tearing up lures sounds like bad rigging to me, tearing up a fishes mouth sounds like it's being horsed in and not played to me.

I have a good book set so I don't need them. I've ripped every fishes mouth and left a giant hole when I used trokars. My gamagatsu work just fine.

I like using the trokar flipping hooks. I get a good hook set and the fish stay on.
Only issue I have is if I set the hook on a fish 3lbs or bigger the hook is bent everytime.
So I go though a bunch of them, I have started using the owner jungle flipping hook, I might switch full time but I need a little more time to tell if I like them better.

I use whatever I can get the best deal on. I change hooks A LOT! That said, sometimes the deal is Trokar. And those things are viscous, man! I have been using the EWG 2/0 Trokars lately flipping rage craws, and the damn hooks penetrate a little too much. I've had the hooks punch eyes out of bass and rip right through their skulls! Holy jeez! And had one on a bass that shook a lot trying to un hook em and the damn Trokar caught my thumb and gouged me. Lol. I was bleeding like a stuck pig the rest of the days fishing.
For real? I don't see any difference in hook up ratios between Trokar, Gama, Owner, or VMC. They all work. Some (Trokar) seem to stay sharper longer. And not bend. But effects on plastics is the same. Some Owners and Gamas I don't really like because the plastic likes to "ride up" over the bait stay too easily. But I usually solder a tiny plastic keeper on them before I use them and I also try to use screw lock tungstens when I can
Eat. Sleep. Fish.

I tried them. Have a few left. I just don't get it.
I have reasonably sharp hooks and really have no problem with hook ups. The design of the Trokar is not different, just the sharpness. So if its just sharper and I happen to need a sharper hook I can pull out my diamond pad and get it done.
Sharper, more able to penetrate easily also means it comes through the side of the bait more easily. That means it can come out when I don't want it to. I will do with the not so sharp hooks that I can buy for half (or less) the price.

On the wide gap the "eye hole" is to big so they will eat up a Tiki-stick. You get 1 maybe 2 fish, if you are lucky.

I like their swimbait hooks. They are much wider than other brands and I like to throw fat swimbaits.

Points seem to roll over on them fairly easily. I don't use anything but Owner cutting points on as much as I can get away with, very rarely have issues with those. I wish Oldham would go back to using cutting points on his jigs. Those are some of the most durable hooks for holding a point ever made.
