Starting point was here:

Ended up with this:

Coloration: Dorsal region blue-green with yellowish hue, faint purple tone above and behind operculum; lateral region silvery-white with black kill spot and faint horizontal spots along the back, ventral region silvery-white; eyes 4.5 - 5mm gold or silver soft plastic.

Went bass angling.... tried worms, buzzbaits, squarebills, spinners, senkos, chatterbaits, pitched jigs...the bite was really poor most of the day. Water was off colored due to all the rains. Wind direction ESE 6-12mph. Cloudy to partly cloudy all day. Found a small cove about 2-4 foot deep where the wind had pushed shad into a weed edge.

Couldn't get a bite on anything but small rattlebaits...was surprised at the number 1-2 pound bass caught from a small area ...too many to count. Tried several patterns but this one killed 'em. The larger lure spirals slowly down when paused and strikes came mostly on a pause. Almost every strike took both hooks...not too pleased about that since I've been told bass usually die when hooked in the gills/gullet. Caught a few small catfish too! Thanks to Basscat Dad for hooking me up with GBCB and the small rattlebaits....can't wait to get into some crappie or white bass with these. Good folks on this forum thumb

The pattern is pretty realistic. When combined with the small size and unique falling action they're great! Thanks for the hookup...U R the Man flehan
