Texoma is still 26' above pool. Water breached the spillway last Saturday and they are letting as much water out as they can. Every marina is underwater and putting a boat in the water is tricky since all the ramps have about 15' to 20' of water covering them. The marinas, guides and seasonal employees are pretty much out of business for now. I dont see how they could get any restaurants or resorts open this year because there is a lot of damage. I want to go fishing but that is a selfish thought with so many people suffering on the lake. It is really sad.

Many thoughts and prayers to all those impacted by the floods. The mighty T is rolling over that spillway and hasn't even slowed down. She is still rising! It's crazy. Those who can get a boat on the lake should find schooling fish and no other boats. Fishing will also be good on the river below the dam for a long time. It will be crowded but good.

If it ain't yours don't mess with it!

It is great that we are out of the draught, it is very sad for all the folks that lost homes and prized possessions, even worse for the lost lives. Some of the folks on the lake may never recover from this.

Looks like the lake set a new high mark this morning. It's highest point had been 644.76 from 1990 and now it's above 645 and inching upward.
