Why is it when someone loses a fish it's always a 10lb giant? I've never heard anyone say they lost one and it was a 2lber.

Ha if someone says they don't lie the next question should be if they are a fisherman. You'll know the answer

Some day there will be a rod that will have a scale on it, the scale will tell the angler the true weight of the fish that got away. I guess I need to do a cloud funding thing, to get the ball rolling. LOL

Because who cares if you lost the 2 pounder you lose two pounders every day Ive lost thousands of two pounders I've had 6 or so that were probably 10+ Come unbuttoned at the boat. That just makes you sick that feeling gets easier to deal with once you make the club(still hurts none the less). But makes for a good story I sure don't want to hear about some 6 inch long dink that hit a 10 inch power worm and tail walked at the boat and flopped off. Unless you have slow-motion video of the little sucker tail walking his way off the hook dragging a worm twice as long as it was lol. At least I do know when to say oh well at least it was a dink when I lose one(but I don't like missing any fish). At last we all know you never know till they hit the scales!

I mean can you imagine the story if this guy would've shook the hook right at the boat is a funny pic though.

I guess it could easily go the other way..what if it was actually a 12lber Then they would've said they lost the state record.

I try to keep up with natural growth rates, so any fish I fail to boat gets bigger every time I tell someone about it. Come to think of it, the ones I boat and don't weigh or photograph all get bigger over time, too.
