With the Lowrance Touch Gen 2 do you have to have both a regular transducer for sonar and a transducer for sides can or does the one transducer for side scan also do sonar?

Really? Glad I saw this. I have been going back and forth on whether to switch to Lowrance...... I'll stick with HB.

The LSS2 is for down image and side scan and you will need another transducer for the sonar imaging. If you choose an HDI transducer, it will give you sonar and down image but not side scan.
