RC is 1 1/2 feet above Pool Level, 24 of 24 Spillway Gates were open today and the fish are still biting verrrry good! LOTS and LOTS of undersized Hybrids are being caught and the occasional BIG ONE. We're strictly Artificial Bait Fishermen but I'm guessing the Live Bait Guys are doing a bit better on the bigger Hybrids. We're also having to catch about 150 Whites to get a 75 fish limit. Seems the worry over our fish population was just that as we're sure releasing a ton of 10" White Bass. If you stay at it, you'll get a limit of nice fish! We've had just a bit of early AM Schooling off the South Shoreline where we're catching fish on Cohos. 90% of our fish are coming (as usual) on www.rsrlures.com Slabs in 25' to 35' water off Humps, Points and Drop Offs. The fish are on the move so keep the Electronics on and move with them.

What are "Cohos"?

Cohos are a "swim bait" kinda like a Sassy Shad. I get them from Reaxion Lures at Texoma. They're deadly on Whites and Hybrid when the fish are pushing bait to the surface and feeding aggressively.

Another good day today even though we had a strong Wind to deal with the first couple of hours of the morning. Finally was able to get out on the Main Lake at Pelican and put together a box of fish!



Looks like tomorrow may be a challenge and then a break from the rain for several days!
