Zebra mussels shut off 22% of NTMWD water supply fron Texoma in 2010. A $300,000,000 pipeline was built to bypass the shut pipeline. The zebra mussels are on their way down the Trinity despite all efforts to contain them. "Lake Texoma makes up 22.5 percent of our water supply, so we will need to turn those pumps back on, said NTMWD spokeswoman Denise Hickey." http://www.wfaa.com/story/news/local/2014/08/10/13650912/Good to see all the lakes full once again. El Nino does it again.

Money can't buy you happiness, but it can rent you something so damn close you'll never be able to tell the difference.

Politicians, baseball players, high-powered corporate CEO's they all seem to eventually let us down. Nature, however, does not. Look to her for inspiration and you will learn the secrets to living a good life. The most Important lesson it would seem is to make sure you spend as much time fishing as anything else.
