Only state park we can book a trip for is Whitney haven't fished it in awhile anyone had any luck with sandbass and or hybrids ?

No hybrids stocked in whitney. But there are a ton of small striper right now, and some big sand bass.

With kayaks, maybe Cedron creek park. Check out the humps where the creek meets the main lake. Also along the drop off on the river channel where Cedron park is.
