me and my dad are going to sam rayburn next weekend and we are both very new to crappie fishing. we usually salt water fish. i was looking for any tips that might help us put crappie in the boat. we have a lowrance side scan image depth finder and i have heard that those can be a huge advantage when looking for crappie. so what im wondering is, are the fish done spawning and have they moved to the deeper parts of the lake? any other tips are much appreciated

welcomenever fished that lake but for the most part, fish are being found on BP in 10-15 FOW in alot of texas lakes right now. With all the rain I think their use to the mucked up water and are getting hungry and starting to bite. IMHO
