Going to try my luck tomorrow afternoon. Is the ramp open? How's the fishing after all this rain?

Went yesterday from about 6 to noon. T-rigged worms in tequila sunrise and red shad worms on main lake grass beds should get you bit. Caught some good fish doing this. Early morning topwater bite was slow, caught one schooling fish later on a spook. Also caught a couple on the dam off a crankbait. Good luck!

Fished Sunday for 8 hours and caught 10 fish. Lost a good one at the boat on a frog and got broke off a few times on a wacky rig. No real pattern to where the fish were for us. One here and one there.

I dont exaggerateI just remember BIG !!!

It was tough for me today. Tried the pads with frog, senko and a craw bait. No bites. I gave up and got 2 bites on a C rig in 18 fow casting up hill and dragging it down.

I found the fish more active in deeper and clearer colored water. I had the boat anywhere between 12-16 ft and did most of my damage around the pockets and points in the area to the north of the dam. The island near produced as well. I was using a shad colored crank bait running at 12', shad swim bait and drop shot wacky style. Watch your graph for the bass chasing shad and for fish surfacing. The top water bite was surprising slow.

Yeah very surprising that the topwater bite was not on. My guess is that the water is just slightly more stained than normal. Could make a difference. Only people we talked to catching any on topwater were fishing shallow with frogs. Main lake schooling just isn't consistent yet.

Could not find a consistent pattern. Caught a few decent size fish in 12-15'on crank baits by the damn, and in the shallows with T-rig and jerk bait. Swim bait bite seemed slow, and missed two (as usual) with a frog! Good weekend overall.

Great fishing yesterday. Caught about 30 from little 12 inchers up to our biggest at 8.6 lbs. Lots of slots, all up in the shallowest grass almos on the bank. Caught most on weightless flukes and a few including the big one on blue fleck power worms. Water was warm and a little high but in great shape.
